Liftech Wins RM25 Million Contract for Data Centre Lifting Equipment

June 25, 2026

Liftech Group Berhad has secured a major contract worth RM25 million to supply and install heavy-duty overhead cranes for a new data centre development in Johor, reinforcing the Group’s position as a trusted partner in Malaysia’s growing digital infrastructure sector.
The contract covers the design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of customised lifting equipment to support the facility’s construction and ongoing operational needs. This award comes amid Malaysia’s rapid expansion in semiconductor, aerospace, and data centre infrastructure — sectors where Liftech has built a strong track record over more than three decades.

“This contract reflects the trust our clients place in our engineering capabilities and our ability to deliver complex lifting solutions on time,” said a Liftech spokesperson. “As Malaysia’s industrial landscape continues to evolve, we remain committed to supporting our clients with reliable, high-performance lifting and handling equipment.”

Liftech expects works under this contract to commence in the third quarter of 2026, with the project adding to the Group’s existing unbilled order book.
